About Me
I work with individuals and couples who manage full, demanding lives and feel the quiet cost of holding it all together.
You may be carrying a lot.
Emotionally. Relationally. Physically.
Many of the individuals and couples I work with manage full, demanding lives with significant responsibility.
From the outside, things often look stable and well managed.
Inside, the cost shows up as tension, exhaustion, or disconnection.
At times, that strain appears in relationships. At other times, it settles in the body.
Often, it’s both.
My Perspective
I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. As a first-generation immigrant and a Black woman, I understand what it means to carry responsibility early, to keep going without much room to rest, and to learn strength before learning how to receive support.
Over time, I came to see that stress, pressure, and emotional strain do not simply disappear through insight alone. They live in the body and often show up as exhaustion, tension, numbness, or disconnection, even when someone appears capable and successful. This understanding shapes how I work..

How I work
My approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Brainspotting, a body-based therapy that supports the nervous system in processing stress and emotional pain that talking alone doesn’t always reach.
I work with both individuals and couples, helping people slow down, understand emotional patterns, and support their nervous systems in releasing what has been held over time so change feels not just understood, but embodied.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
My style is grounded, relational, and attentive. I pay close attention to emotional patterns and bodily responses, helping clients move at a pace that respects their nervous system rather than pushing for quick fixes.
I believe meaningful therapy honors the ways people learned to survive—while creating space for relief, connection, and rest.
